10月26日 Found Something New about Eric LiddellJust came across the name of my beloved Eric Liddell at SOAS, source from Minutes of the Missions Cooperating Council Meeting, June 16-18, 1941, Shanghai, C/13/41/37.
"Since there is a large and immediate need for an experienced evangelistic missionary in the pioneer work of the KKK Project, we concur witht he request of the General Assembly of the Church of Christ in China that Mr. Eric Liddell be transferred from North China to Yunnan for service in the KKK Project. His particular location and assignment to be referred to the Directing Committee of the KKK Cooperative Project in Kunming.
Should it, however, be impossible to secure the transfer of Mr. and Mrs. Rowlands to Chungking, we would recommend to the Emergency Directing Committee of the General Assembly of the CCC that Mr. Liddell be assigned to Chungking."
