11月26日 MC火警轶事时间：今晨5：20左右
地点：MC的ES和PH
事件：正在睡梦中的我被“闹钟”惊醒，心想：怎么自己把闹钟调错了，天还没亮就不停的响，爱丁堡也不会9：30还天黑啊？？一边想，一边继续做梦，一边用手去按闹钟……突然听到敲门声——同屋大叫“快起快起！是火警！要下去……”（译文），还停留在睡眠状态的我于是开始了“梦游”行动——穿好衣服，跟着她们到了楼下，一边走，一边闻到一股烧焦的味道，一边纳闷儿……发现楼下已经堆满了人，穿着各式各样的睡衣，有的披着被子（后来我也钻了进去~~），有的还背着包（装着笔记本、护照什么的，后来在我清醒的时候，不能不佩服这人的经验~~），大家一边打着哈欠，一边打着寒颤，一边热烈的讨论……后来才知道对于他们来说，这简直就是家常便饭了，怪不得一个个都训练有素！
原因：消防队员检查各楼层，发现在Leo和Henry正楼下的房间因为没有关烤箱而引起了小规模的冒烟事件——大家安心的回去睡觉——不过估计Leo和Henry可能会有一点点“后怕”的感觉，其实离我们也是很近的……
结果：继续回到还散发着余热的被窝——睡到中午11点。
11月22日 Thanksgiving Party今晚Mylne's Court举办了Thanksgiving Party，环顾四围，发现大多数人从来就没见过！看来好些人都是闻风而来滴~~其中不乏中国人外国人……还有偶滴PhD日本同学，还有偶滴好朋友们……
开心一：好久没有和大家聚在一起了，加上今天刚刚结束这学期的课……感觉自然不用说啦！
开心二：巨多巨多的人排队等吃的……这种场面在国内都很少见！排到我和梅子的时候，正上了一盘新鲜出炉的火鸡……hohoho
开心三：见到了好久没见的阿杜——一见我就说，差点打电话给中国大使馆，怎么一个活生生的中国学生失踪了这么久~~
开心四：波哥再遭“调戏”——一群人笑扑在地——给今天的晚会画上了圆满的句号！
11月20日 Law Library 的二楼正在Law Lib学习，找书找了半年找不到，正纳闷儿呢，工作人员告诉我在二楼~~我说这里面还有二楼？只见一座cute的楼梯正竖在那儿……原来Law Lib还有二楼……来了这么多次竟然都没看到！！看来我又多了一个学习地点的选择~~估计最近几个星期就要在这里度过了……搞不清自己到底是学历史还是学法律了~~ 11月13日 Life without Limbs

11月12日 Remembrance Sunday Service Remembrance Day (Australia, Canada, United Kingdom), also known as Poppy Day (Malta and South Africa) and Armistice Day (France, New Zealand, and many other Commonwealth countries; and the original name of the day internationally) is a day to commemorate the sacrifices of members of the armed forces and civilians in times of war, specifically since the First World War. I attended the service which was conducted in the Playfair Library Hall in Old College by the chaplains to the University of Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt University and Napier University this morning.

Praying Together
Let us pray for all who suffer as a result of conflict, and ask that God may give us peace:
For the service men and women who have died in the violence of war, each one remembered by and known to God;
For those who love them in death as in life, offering the distress of our grief and the sadness of our loss;
For all members of the armed forces who are in danger this day, remembering family, friends and all who pray for their safe return;
For civilian women, children and men whose lives are disfigured by war ot terror, calling to mind in penitence the anger and hatreds of humanity;
For peace-makers and peace-keepers, who seek to keep this world sevure and free;
For all who bear the burden and privilege of leadership, political, military and religious, asking for gifts of wisdom and resolve in the search for reconciliation and peace.
O God of truth and justice,
We hold before you those whose memory we cherish,
And those whose names we will never know.
Help us to lift our eyes above the torment of this broken world,
And grand us the grace to pray for those who wish us harm.
As we honour the past, may we put our faith in your future;
For you are the source of life and hope,
Now and for ever.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed by thy name.
Thy Kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

下午的中文礼拜由梁永强牧师（国际威克里夫圣经翻译会亚太区事工发展顾问）证道——教会弟兄怀宇的父亲 题目是“饥渴慕义的万民”赛2：2－5，11：9 讲到神的话语与训诲， 讲到“认识耶和华的知识要充满遍地，好像水充满洋海一般”， 讲到对万国万民的宣教， 讲到200年来在中国的苏格兰传教士们的劳苦， 讲到“报恩”…… 圣灵再一次在心中呼唤， 泪流满面…… 11月10日 赐我自由赐自由的灵啊

11月8日 杂记今天（应该说昨天才对~~不过还没睡觉，就算今天好了）苏帅终于收到了偶上个月寄给他的两张明信片和国旗：）
国旗是要在11月17日苏格兰和意大利队比赛的时候用的……偶竟然为了他抛弃了倾心多年的Totti和意大利队，转而为自己的New Home Country加油……偶倒宁愿说是为了Eric Liddell和John Knox的缘故……（想打自己~~）
Postcard一张是Edinburgh，一张是上次旅游的Lindisfarne。第二张偶是用中文写的，因为可以写很多字。结果他说他只能看懂三分之一，不是看不懂内容，是看不懂偶的Handwriting~~偶对此深表同情——因为偶的字写的真的是好！他拿出来念给我听：“因为什么什么什么……所以什么什么什么；我看到什么什么什么……好好什么什么什么……你要什么什么什么什么……了……”哦~~原来是这样的三分之一……动词一个都没认出来，关联词倒是挺熟的~~
今天还让他看昨天晚上自己做的晚餐——Beef-Potato-Carrot-Toast，大家也看看！是不是很诱人呢？？
他竟然说：“我觉得你有一点奇怪——为什么每次都把做的饭照下来，还让我看？？”我就当他是又饿又馋想吃还吃不到而生发出来的忌妒心理……
11月7日 Installing LoveTech Support: Yes, how can I help you?
Tech Support: With pleasure. Go to your start menu and invoke Forgiveness. Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge and Resentment have been completely erased. I loved this!
Tech Support: Sometimes. For others it takes awhile, but eventually everything gets it at the proper time. So Love is installed and running. One more thing before We hang up. Love is Freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everyone you meet. They will in turn share it with others and return some cool modules back to you.
